No trip to Paris is complete without a night at the opera. Experience the grandeur of Opera Bastille, built in 1989, during the numerous magnificent productions staged here. Tickets are frequently still available the day before the performance. If you don't want to spend a lot of money on the opera, no problem! Opera Bastille has a standing tribune, with space for 62 places @ EUR 5.00. Whilst you get an equally good view of the stage from the tribune as the seats, you do have to be prepared to stand throughout. Once the doors have closed you may move from the standing tribune to any of the remaining seats - that's if you can be bothered!
