In the north of Portland, you’ll find the districts of Mississippi and Alberta. These two districts are definitely worth visiting. Mississippi is home to many great bars and restaurants. Take a wander in Williams as well as this district is known for its up-and-coming cafés which are ideal for luscious lunches and delightful dinners. Alberta on the other hand has a very arty atmosphere about it. Take a stroll along the district's many shops and art galleries and enjoy the laid-back feeling of the neighbourhood. Make sure to visit Alberta on the last Thursday of the month since a colourful community-grown event is always held on that specific day!
