Al 200 jaar lang sponsort het museum verschillende expedities en milieuonderzoeken en het heeft inmiddels een enorme natuurhistorische collectie opgebouwd bestaande uit meer dan 17 miljoen stukken! Hiermee is het museum wereldleider op het gebied van biodiversiteit en milieuonderzoek. De Academy heeft een groot aanbod van programma\u2019s, voor jong en oud. Zo is er ook een programma voor families om het museum \u2019s nachts mee te maken! Daarnaast zijn er speciale activiteiten tijdens het weekend.
