Het museum ligt op een uur en vijftien minuten rijden van Belfast, maar is zeker een bezoekje waard. <\/strong>Al ruim vierhonderd jaar wordt hier Bushmills whiskey gedestilleerd. In 2008 vierde Bushmills nog het vierhonderd jarig bestaan van de licentie, die ze in 1608 kregen. Ter ere hiervan werd er eenmalig een speciale Ierse Whiskey gemaakt met een extra zachte smaak. Vraag iemand in Belfast waar ze trots op zijn en je hebt een grote kans dat ze de Bushmills Whiskey zullen noemen. Tijdens een dagtrip naar de Bushmills Distillery kun je een kijkje nemen in de stokerij en zien hoe de whiskey wordt gemaakt. Superleuk!
