E\u00e9n van de mooiste hotels van Paramaribo is Hotel Torarica en het hotel heeft dan ook een aantal prachtige bars en zwembaden waar ook locals en toeristen gebruik van kunnen maken. E\u00e9n van die bars is The Edge Bar, wat het perfecte start- (of eind)punt is van een avondje in de stad. The Edge Bar werd recentelijk gerenoveerd, maar heeft haar authentieke sfeer nog behouden door het veelvuldige gebruik van hout in het interieur. Ook de Afrikaanse kunst aan de muren is schitterend.
