Aan de overkant van Le Garonne vind je Les Abattoirs, een kunstmuseum in Toulouse. Les Abattoirs focust zich met name op moderne en hedendaagse kunst en is dan ook heel populair bij de toeristen, maar ook de locals van de Zuid-Franse stad. Les Abattoirs, wat slachthuis betekent, werd in 1823 gebouwd en tot 1991 gebruikt waar het ooit voor bedoeld was. Daarna is het getransformeerd tot een museum, maar het heeft zijn originele naam altijd behouden. In het museum vind je ruim 3500 kunststukken, waaronder werken van Picasso.
