Omotesando is het fashion district van Tokio waar top designers, modellenbureau’s en bekende modelabels hun kantoren hebben staan. Je vindt Omotesando tussen Gaienmae en Shibuya in. Vanzelfsprekend is het ook een wijk waar je goed kunt shoppen! Omotesando Dori, de grote winkelboulevard van de wijk, wordt dan ook vaak vergeleken met de Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es in Parijs. Overal om je heen zie je grote flagship-stores van Prada, Louis Vuitton of Dior. Daarnaast heeft Omotesando een groot winkelcentrum met vijf verdiepingen vol kinderspeelgoed, genaamd Omotesando Hills and Kiddyland – een paradijs voor kinderen! Hoewel Omotesando vlakbij Harajuku ligt, is het contrast tussen deze twee wijken erg groot: in Harajuku vind je voornamelijk goedkope, tweedehandswinkeltjes en goedkope eetgelegenheden.
