De tempel staat bekend om de gigantische liggende Buddha die 46m lang is en volledig is gemaakt van bladgoud. De voeten van het beeld van drie bij vijf meter zijn volledig met parelmoer ingelegd en laten een symbool van het heelal omringt door tekens van geluk en voorspoed zien. Naast de liggende Buddha zijn er in de tempel nog ruim 1.000 andere Buddha beelden te vinden.
