Deze kloof is 24 kilometer lang en omgeven door bergen.&nbsp;<\/strong>Het is de perfecte locatie om een dag door te brengen in de natuur. Er zijn veel wandel- en fietsroutes, maar je kunt er ook bergen beklimmen of een hengel uitgooien bij een van de meren. De meren in het park hebben allemaal vrouwennamen, zoals Mary, Martha en Katharine. Een van de populairste wandelroutes brengt je langs Blanche, Florence en Lilian. Als je langer wilt blijven kun je kamperen op een van de kampeerplaatsen. Wat Big en Little Cottonwood Canyon extra bijzonder maakt is de grote biodiversiteit, zo kent het gebied veel endemische plantensoorten die alleen in deze kloof voorkomen. In de winter verandert Big Cottonwood Canyon in een skiwalhalla, twee van Utah&#39;s bekendste skiresorts liggen namelijk in deze kloof: Brighton en Solitude.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Een ander bijzonder fenomeen is de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityzapper.com\/nl\/noord-amerika\/salt-lake-city\/buiten-de-stad\/bonneville-zoutvlakte\">Bonneville-zoutvlakte<\/a>.
