Ooit was dit de noordelijke grens van het Romeinse Rijk in Groot-Brittani&euml;.<\/strong> Tegenwoordig is dit een prachtige locatie die omringd word door natuur en een geweldige historische waarde met zich mee draagt. Langs de route, die in totaal bijna 60 kilometer uitstrekt, vind je onder andere drie tot vier meter hoge steen- en grasversterkingen. Ondanks het feit dat The Antonine Wall rond het jaar 142 werd gebouwd zijn er nog grote delen intact gebleven. Bezoekers kunnen over de muur lopen en de prachtige natuur eromheen bewonderen, zwerven zoals de Romeinen ooit deden, of gewoon genieten van de rust en de frisse lucht.<br
