Na de oorlog besloot hij in&nbsp;Bangkok&nbsp;te blijven en stuurde hij monsters van de Thaise zijde naar modehuizen over de hele wereld.&nbsp;Al snel had hij een bloeiende&nbsp;zijdehandel&nbsp;en kon hij een huis gaan bouwen, dat vandaag de dag nog steeds een indrukwekkende bezienswaardigheid is. In het huis vind je Aziatische kunst en allerlei persoonlijke bezittingen. Ook worden er rondleidingen gegeven en er is een heerlijk restaurant in de tuin.
