\u201cMastiha\u201d is Grieks voor mastiekboom, dus verkoopt Mastihashop producten waar het hars van de boom in is verwerkt. De mastiekboom is zeldzaam en groeit alleen op rotsige eilanden in de Middellandse Zee. De beste hars komt van het Griekse eiland Chios, waar Mastihashop het vandaan haalt. Vroeger werd het veel gebruikt in verf, vernis en kauwgom, maar deze winkel maakt veel creatiever gebruik van de mogelijkheden. Het zit in allerlei producten die ze verkopen zoals zoete lekkernijen, likeuren, cosmeticaproducten, feta en koffie.
