The Narodni muzeum (National Museum) was founded in 1818 and is situated in one of the Czech Republic's biggest and most imposing buildings on Wenceslas Square. It houses the largest collection in the Czech Republic, comprising over 20 million objects. This museum is therefore also one of the most important embodiments of Czech nationalism from the nineteenth century. You can see Czech customs and practice in terms of culture, teaching and knowledge. This museum is extremely interesting to visit, not least for its magnificent architecture.
