Canovas can be found just south of Valencia’s historic centre and it is the perfect place to immerse yourself in Valencia’s vibrant nightlife. This district in the borough of L’Eixample is situated next to the River Túria and concentrates around Gran Via Marqués del Túria. It’s a mere fifteen-minute walk from Valencia’s city centre but you can also opt to catch a bus to Canovas. The district is especially popular with the city’s creative types and its artists and can be typified as a true working class area. It is home to many pleasant squares and fun shops as well as to great cocktail bars and good restaurants. Mercado de Colón, the city’s daily fish market, is also situated here. Canovas is a residential area which means that parties don’t last until sunrise. Bars generally close at 2am while clubs tend to close around 4am. Aquarium, Bagoas and Upper Club are fun bars to go to.
