Come day or night, this bustling neighbourhood is the perfect place to go if you want to spend some time in one of Zürich’s most pleasant areas. Take a stroll down Niederdorf’s quaint little streets and discover the area’s many boutiques and antiques stores. The selection of clothes, jewellery and handicraft is second to none with shops catering to a somewhat younger crowd. At night, the historic old town is transformed into a hip and pleasant entertainment area where street artists vie for attention, applause and tips. Many fun spots can be found here, such as the Casa Bar, which is a great jazz café. Niederdorf is also home to many great restaurants and clubs, the latter open until the early hours.
