A Dutch Theatre in Ghent? Indeed! The NTGent (Nederlands Theater Gent) was founded in 1965 and has a regular intergenerational cast that consists of both Flemish and Dutch actors. The NTGent also tours The Netherlands, Germany and France with its productions. Check out their website for up to date information on programming and ticket prices. Those under the age of 30 only pay €13,50 for a ticket for performances on Wednesday nights. Visitors can also opt for a theatre and dinner package since both the NTBar on the ground floor and Brasserie de Foyer on the first floor are ideally suited to enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner. The menu lists typical French bistro dishes and Belgian classics.
