Moulin Rouge

My guide Last update 1 year ago
This world famous cabaret lies in Paris's red light district, near Montmartre. It's instantly recognizable by the large red windmill displayed on its roof. People flooded here in their masses after its opening in 1889. This extravagant venue has a huge dance floor with mirrors everywhere, and the scantily clad artists put on a spectacular show. There's a price tag attached, but the food is excellent and the shows are superb. An interesting titbit of information: the price includes champagne. Reservations are advised and formal dress is required.
